Investment fund
Truffle Capital manages two kinds of regulated investment vehicles:
Institutional funds: Fonds Communs de Placement à Risques (FCPR), or funds reserved for institutional investors
Retail funds: Fonds Communs pour l’Innovation (FCPI), or retail funds targeting high net-worth or high income individuals, distributed principally through retail banks.
The Institutional funds & the Retail funds co-invest systematically on a pro-rata basis.
In 2003 we launched Program I, composed of four funds, one institutional & 3 retail funds, based on a successful investment model that consists of focusing on technology spin-offs with high growth potential in Energy, Information Technologies and Life Sciences.:
Institutional fund: Truffle Venture FCPR,
Retails funds: Europe Innovation 2002 FCPI, Europe Innovation 2003 FCPI and Europe Innovation 2004 FCPI
In 2007 we extended our investment strategy and launched Program II with three vehicles, one institutional & 3 retail funds:
Retails funds: Europe Innovation 2006 FCPI, UFF Innovation 5 FCPI, Fortune FCPI
Institutional fund: Truffle Capital II FCPR.
In 2009 we launched Program III with several new vehicles, including UFF Innovation 7 FCPI, Pluriel FCPI.
